Sajda al-sahw for a mistake in recitation

Question

If the imam recites incorrectly in tarawih and a follower prompts him with the correct reading, is it permissible for the imam to perform sajda al-sahw or not?

Answer

If the imam made a mistake in recitation in tarawih, sajda al-sahw is not prescribed because of it; performing sajda al-sahw for this purpose is wrong. Whether the imam takes the prompt or not, sajda al-sahw does not arise from it.
