Praying on a Prayer Mat Bearing an Image of the Bayt Allah

Question

What is [the ruling on] praying on a prayer mat bearing an image of the Bayt Allah, given that the Jews make this image in order to degrade [the sanctuary]?

Answer

The ruling on an image is not the ruling on the original. Praying on this mat is not like praying on the Bayt Allah. Therefore no degradation of the Bayt Allah results from it, and the intention of the Jews fails. It is better not to buy such mats at all, so that they stop making them.
