Another person leading the prayer while the imam’s deputy is present

Question

The imam of the neighbourhood is not present, but before leaving he made one of the muqtadis his deputy. What is the ruling on someone else leading the prayer while this deputy is present?

Answer

While the imam’s deputy is present, another person should not himself step forward to lead the prayer.
