The follower joining in ruku' without saying the tasbih

Question

Question: a man joined the congregation when the imam was in ruku'. He did share in the ruku' with the imam, but only very briefly — so much so that he had not said the tasbih of ruku' even once before the imam raised his head. Did he catch the rak'a or not?

Answer

The follower has caught this rak'a.
