Joining "wa-l-tayyibat" with "al-salamu" in the tashahhud

Question

Question: in the tashahhud, is it better (afdal) to join the word "والطيبات" with the words "السلام عليك", or to recite them separately? And second: is it better to join the word "وبركاته" with "السلام عليك" or to recite it separately?

Answer

It is better to recite them separately: these are separate utterances, as [narrated] in the hadith.
