One Is Buried Where the Soil [of His Creation] Is From
Question
It is often said that when a child settles in the mother's womb and takes the form of a clot (mudgha), the angels at that time place soil in his navel; and wherever that soil is from, there that person will be buried [after death]. Is this correct or not?
Answer
This narration is recorded in “Jam‘ al-Fawa’id”, p. 139, vol. 2, but there is no explicit mention of the navel in it.
