Verifying the Hadiths “Lawlaka” and “I Am from the Light of Allah”

Question

Respected Mufti, as-salamu ‘alaykum (the sunna greeting). My request is that you kindly give a detailed answer regarding the authenticity of the hadiths written below. [ar]لَوْلَاكَ لَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْأَفْلَاكَ[/ar] “Were it not for you, I would not have created the spheres.” The second hadith: [ar]أَنَا مِنْ نُورِ اللَّهِ وَالْخَلْقُ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ نُورِي[/ar] “I am from the light of Allah, and all creation is from my light.”

Answer

The first narration is fabricated (mawdu‘) in its wording, but sound (sahih) in meaning. The second narration is found in “Musannaf ‘Abd al-Razzaq”.
