Prohibition by Affinity Resulting from Zina with the Mother-in-Law
Question
Zayd committed zina with his mother-in-law, whether inadvertently or deliberately. In either case, has his wife become haram or not? If she has become haram, will she become halal by marrying again or not? And if she has not become haram, is there a need to give this wife an explicit talaq (talaq sarih) or not? And can that wife marry another man without talaq or not?
Answer
