The Eid ghusl where the Eid prayer is not held

Question

Given that the prayer of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha is not permissible in villages, what is the ruling on bathing, washing and changing clothes on the day of Eid?

Answer

For them this is not sunna (masnun); but if they do it, there is no harm in it either.
