Jumu'a in the Eidgah with the second adhan and iqama
Question
Many people came to attend a funeral prayer (janaza), and since it was the day of Jumu'a there was not enough room in the mosque for all the people to perform the Jumu'a prayer in the mosque. So all the people agreed to go and perform the Jumu'a prayer in the Eidgah (open ground for the Eid prayer), whereas the adhan had already been given in the mosque, and the sound of the adhan reaches the Eidgah. Answer
A wrong course was adopted. Jumu'a should have been prayed in the mosque as before, and those who were left over should have gone to the Eidgah and performed Jumu'a there with an adhan and a khutba. Leaving the mosque empty was not right: the mosque's due was not fulfilled by this — its right was violated.
