What Is to Be Done If a Mosque Is Not Attended Without Jumu‘a
Question
Two miles from the place where we live there is a village; the mosque there is unattended, and the mosque can be brought to life only through Jumu‘a. What is the ruling on performing Jumu‘a in that place?
Answer
If it is a small village, Jumu‘a is not permissible there. Whether the mosque is attended or deserted, Jumu‘a should not be performed; rather, arrangements should be made and care taken for the adhan and the congregation at all five times.
