Performing muraqaba at the shrine of some saintly elder is found in the books of the respected Hazrat Shah Waliyullah Muhaddith Dihlawi ﵀, the respected Hazrat Shah ‘Abd al-Haqq Muhaddith Dihlawi ﵀, Hazrat Mujaddid Alf Thani ﵀, the respected Hazrat Hajji Imdadullah Muhajir Makki ﵀ and the respected Hazrat Mawlana Ashraf ‘Ali Thanawi ﵀, and its method is set out there in detail.
