Turning the deceased onto his side in the grave

Question

In the grave, should the dead person be laid on his back with only the face turned toward the qibla, or should he be turned somewhat onto his right side so that his whole front faces the qibla? Which way is better?

Answer

He should be turned onto his side and made to face the qibla; turning only the face toward the qibla should not be deemed sufficient.
