The funeral prayer during Qur’an teaching

Question

If a teacher (mu‘allim) is teaching the Noble Qur’an and the funeral prayer is ready [to begin], and another teacher is present there to perform the funeral prayer, then what is better for this teacher: to go to the funeral prayer, or to continue teaching the Noble Qur’an?

Answer

If there is no valid excuse, he should take part in the funeral prayer; and if there is some excuse, there is also no harm in remaining occupied with teaching.
