The funeral prayer in shoes with impurity beneath them

Question

Is the funeral prayer correct when performed wearing shoes, or not? For beneath them there is usually dirt and impurity. And if it is permissible, then why?

Answer

If there is dirt beneath the shoes and the funeral prayer is performed wearing the shoes, it is not correct. But if the shoes were not worn, and the prayer was performed with the feet placed on top of the shoes, and the impurity is beneath the shoes and not on top, then the prayer will be correct.
