Reciting “Kalla Sawfa Ta‘lamun” in Support of Shaving the Beard Is Kufr

Question

Those who shave their beards cite [ar]كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ[/ar] in support of shaving the beard. Is this kufr?

Answer

Reciting it in support of one who shaves his beard, and taking its meaning to be “shave the kalla (Urdu for ‘cheeks’)”, is tahrif (distortion) and kufr.
