One Who Bows His Head Before Others but Not Before God

Question

What is the state of, and the ruling on, those who bow their heads before others but do not bow before God? They know everything, yet do nothing, nor do they forbid others. The Hindus worship their spiritual guides, but a Muslim knows who the Creator is — and still he runs away and bends his neck before others instead of God.

Answer

They are at fault and sinful; they must repent and set right their belief and their conduct. May Allah the Exalted grant everyone the ability to do so.
