Question
Question: Your answer No. 587, dated 88/6/17 AH, has been received; thank you. You wrote that separate books have been composed on this subject, in which the definition of naskh, the categories of nasikh (the abrogating), and the rulings of mansukh (the abrogated) are set out. Kindly write down the names of those books which are in Urdu.
Answer
“Kitab al-I‘tibar fi al-Nasikh wa al-Mansukh min al-Athar” — the composition of Mulla al-Hazimi, in Arabic, printed in Hyderabad. “Ifadat al-Shuyukh bi-Miqdar al-Nasikh wa al-Mansukh” — [the work] of the respected Nawab (a title of a Muslim ruling prince or nobleman) Siddiq Hasan, in Persian.
