Who is the author of “‘Ayn al-Hidaya”, and in what period was it written? And what standing does this work hold in fiqh?

Answer

Not much time has passed since “‘Ayn al-Hidaya” was written; it is a translation of “al-Hidaya”. Its author lived in the past century; he was a translator who in places also added explanation, but he was not a mujtahid.
