Teaching the Qur’an to a Non-Muslim

Question

If a Muslim teaches the Qur’an and the like to a non-Muslim, is that permissible or impermissible?

Answer

If a Muslim of some influence [over him] teaches a non-Muslim the Noble Qur’an with the intention that Allah Ta‘ala grant him guidance, this is correct; but he must insist that he not touch the Noble Qur’an without wudu.
