Teaching the Noble Qur’an to an Englishman

Question

A Christian and his English wife are both adults, and they wish to learn the Noble Qur’an. Is it permissible to teach them or not?

Answer

Teaching with the intention of tabligh (conveying the faith) and guidance is permissible; it would be no wonder if Allah Ta‘ala grants him the tawfiq (facilitation) of Islam. It is necessary to observe due respect for the Noble Qur’an, so that it is not touched without wudu.
