Giving an animal a heat-inducing injection and inserting the hand into its genitals

Question: A certain person is a veterinary doctor. At times a cow or the like has to be given an injection to bring it on heat. The procedure is that before giving the injection a hand is inserted into the cow’s genitals (farj), which produces a kind of tickling, and then the injection is given. Does this act fall under fornication (zina) or not? Kindly write clearly about both cases, and also whether doing this employment is proper or not.

Answer

This act does not fall under zina; however, it is an act contrary to nature and wrong, and it may possibly also cause the animal suffering. Such employment should be avoided.
