Employment at a press that prints pictures

Question: In India thousands of Muslims are employed in printing presses, where along with the news they also have to print pictures. Is it permissible to do this job or not? And is it haram to consume its earnings or not?

Printing and publishing pictures of animate beings is not permissible in the Shari‘a; employment in it is also impermissible, because employment in impermissible work is likewise impermissible.
