Doing other work during working hours
Question
Question: If an employee who has committed his whole time in return for a monthly salary does some work in his free time, or when there is no duty to perform, is that correct or not?
Answer
If the employment is for work — i.e. such-and-such an amount of work has to be done — then doing one’s own work in free time is correct. If the employment is for time, it is not correct, unless there is permission.
