Suspicion on account of the loss of virginity

Question

Question: Zayd married a virgin girl. When, on the first night, Zayd goes to this girl for marital relations, he finds that her virginity has gone. What, according to the Shari‘a, should be thought of her? That is, what degree of widening of the vagina can be grounds for suspicion?

Answer

On account of this, this virgin cannot definitively be called unchaste. There is no fixed measure of widening after the loss of virginity by which she could be accused.
