If something has several pillars, every pillar must be performed

Question

Question: Is there any act, deed or act of worship in the Shari‘a such that, if only one fard out of its several fards is performed, that act, deed or act of worship will be complete according to the Shari‘a?

Answer

If an act or act of worship is composed of several fards, its performance depends on all of those fards; by performing only some of the fards, the legal reality of that act or act of worship will not come into existence.
