Naming a child “Nabi Khan”

Question

Question: On 17 November 67 a child was born to me. So far this child has not been given a name. Kindly write a chronogram name (a name whose letters’ numerical value gives the year of birth) for this child, or write some other name; but the name should be with “Nabi Khan” (نبی خاں).

Answer

I have no aptitude for working out chronogram names, so I must be excused. One thing I would submit is this: naming a child on the seventh day after birth is mustahabb, and now, masha’Allah, two and a quarter years have already passed; one should not delay giving a name so long. In a name, it is mustahabb to give a name in which “‘abd” occurs, such as ‘Abdullah (عبد الله)
