How much right do parents have over their daughter after her nikah?

Question

After the nikah, to what extent are the parents permitted to make use of their daughter as they wish? And how much right does the husband have to make use of her in his lawful affairs and dealings and for sexual satisfaction (apart from the days of menstruation (hayd) and postnatal bleeding (nifas)), and at what time may he do so?

Answer

The parents, having sent her off (to her husband’s home), are done (with that). Once a week the daughter may go to visit her parents, but having visited she should come back; she should not stay there without her husband’s permission.
