Foretelling one’s fate

Question

Question: What do the respected scholars say about this: a certain respected religious scholar looks at the hand and tells whether the match of a bridegroom and bride will be good or bad, their fortune, and illnesses. Is this permissible or not? And is praying behind him makruh or not?

Answer

Doing so is not right; he should refrain from it and repent.
