How to treat one who speaks insolently of the majesty of Allah
Question
Question: A non-Muslim commits insolences regarding the majesty of Allah. Clearly, had he known the greatness of Allah, he would not do so. What is the ruling on one who has knowledge keeping silent on such an occasion? If he does not accept admonition, is there a right to inflict bodily pain on him or not, when one has the power to do so?
Answer
Will inflicting bodily pain reform him, when he is ignorant? The way to reform him is to make him aware of the greatness of Allah Most High with good character and compassion, and to correct his belief (‘aqida).
