Selling goods to courtesans

Question

Question: A certain man’s hotel (eating-house) is situated in a place around which courtesans live. The courtesans buy things from his hotel. Is trading with courtesans permissible, and is the income the hotel owner gets through them lawful for him? What course should the hotel owner adopt?

If she buys with unlawful (haram) money, then selling to her and taking that haram money is not permissible according to the Shari‘a; if she buys with lawful money, it is valid.
