Buying greens from Chamar women

Question

Question: The greens of chickpeas and the like which Chamar women (women of the Chamar leather-worker caste) sell are mostly stolen; this was ascertained from the Chamar women themselves. So is it permissible to buy and eat them or not?

Answer

Greens and the like about which it is specifically known that she has stolen and brought them without the owner’s permission — buying them is impermissible.
