A Sum Arising in Rate and Commission Dealings: Explanation and Entitlement

Question

Question: Our work is a commission agency. The owner of the factory is B. N. Ilyas Company. Agency means that whatever the company’s rate is, we must give that rate to the company’s traders and suppliers and bring the goods. On these goods we receive, over and above the rate, a commission of ten rupees per ton. The business is in bones; goods come to Calcutta in wagons from all over India. Until now the company used to fix the price, and we had to bring the goods at that same rate.

Answer

If this is in the company’s cash box (?) and it has permitted you to keep it, then it is correct for you to keep it; otherwise this sum belongs to the company and must be given to it.
