Trading in spirit (alcohol)

Question

Is trading in spirit permissible or not? Some people also take it for drinking — what is the ruling regarding them? Is it permissible to sell to them or not?

Answer

This trade is not haram. Do not sell to those who, to your knowledge, buy it for drinking and become intoxicated by it.
