The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The lawful is clear and the unlawful is clear, and between them are doubtful matters that many people do not know. Whoever guards against the doubtful matters protects his religion and his honor.”

Candelilla wax (E902) is a plant wax from the stems of Euphorbia antisyphilitica (Mexico, southern USA): boiling in water with sulphuric (c2) or citric (c3) acid, refining, filtration through bleaching earths and carbon (c4–c6), bleaching with peroxide or chlorine agents (c7).
