الْحَلَالُ بَيِّنٌ وَالْحَرَامُ بَيِّنٌ، وَبَيْنَهُمَا مُشَبَّهَاتٌ لَا يَعْلَمُهَا كَثِيرٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ، فَمَنِ اتَّقَى الْمُشَبَّهَاتِ اسْتَبْرَأَ لِدِينِهِ وَعِرْضِهِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The lawful is clear and the unlawful is clear, and between them are doubtful matters that many people do not know. Whoever guards against the doubtful matters protects his religion and his honor.”

E634 Calcium 5'-ribonucleotides — is it halal?

Description

A flavour enhancer: a mixture of the calcium salts of 5′-inosinic and 5′-guanylic acids (47–53% each). The calcium salts are made from 5′-IMP, 5′-GMP or their sodium salts with calcium chloride, hydroxide, carbonate etc.; for coating the particles Takeda also names beef tallow and sperm oil, Ajinomoto gelatin (for 5′-ribonucleotides generally).
