الْحَلَالُ بَيِّنٌ وَالْحَرَامُ بَيِّنٌ، وَبَيْنَهُمَا مُشَبَّهَاتٌ لَا يَعْلَمُهَا كَثِيرٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ، فَمَنِ اتَّقَى الْمُشَبَّهَاتِ اسْتَبْرَأَ لِدِينِهِ وَعِرْضِهِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The lawful is clear and the unlawful is clear, and between them are doubtful matters that many people do not know. Whoever guards against the doubtful matters protects his religion and his honor.”

Description

A modified starch: starch is cross-linked with trimetaphosphate or phosphorus oxychloride and acetylated with acetic anhydride or vinyl acetate. Possible links: vinyl acetate (whose raw materials may be fermentation ethanol and catering oils — E1203 dossier), acetic anhydride of unnamed origin, ethanol in patented routes, fatty acids or glycerol of unnamed origin in auxiliaries; enzymes of unnamed origin.
