What should be done if the trustee of a Barelvi mosque is a Deobandi

Question

If the mutawalli of a mosque of people of this mindset is some Deobandi, should he be made to give up the trusteeship (tawliya) or not?

Answer

He should not relinquish the trusteeship; rather, he should appoint an imam and a muezzin of sound creed and not allow anything contrary to the Sunna to be done.
