Examination of a Waqf Deed
Question
How is the dispute over the interpretation of the waqf deed of the late respected Hajji Kallan, on which differing fatwas have already been issued, to be resolved?
Answer
The waqf deed of the late respected Hajji Kallan came before us several times and was examined. Once the answer was written by the respected Mufti Nizamuddin, then this humble one wrote the answer, then, when it came again, the answer was written by the respected Mufti Ahmad ‘Ali Sa‘id.
