The Accusation That Aurangzeb ‘Alamgir Was Illegitimate

A certain person says: Aurangzeb ‘Alamgir’s ancestor, Jalal al-Din Akbar, married Jodha Bai, but no valid nikah took place — and on this basis he calls ‘Alamgir a walad al-haram (illegitimate child), na‘udhu billah! Please clarify the matter conclusively: what is the truth of it?
