Lineage of Children from a Nikah with a Mahram Woman

Question

Question: Is the lineage of the offspring born of the coupling of these two established from Zayd or not? Zayd, however, affirms them as his son and daughter.

Answer

Although this nikah is haram, the children who are born of this nikah will have their lineage (nasab) established from Zayd. Children born of a nikah with mahram women (women whom it is permanently forbidden to marry)
