Calling one’s husband “father”

Question

If a woman says to her husband «تم میرے باپ ہو» (“you are my father”) three times, what will the ruling be regarding the wife and the husband?

Answer

No prohibition (hurma) will arise from this: the two will remain husband and wife as before. However, saying such words is forbidden and makruh; one should refrain from this and should repent.
