Handing over to a Hindu a woman whom her husband does not keep

Question

Question: Four years have passed since a woman was married (her nikah was concluded). Her husband neither gives her talaq nor keeps her. One child has already been born to this woman during her dissolute wanderings. After that, three years later, the woman went to another place, to a certain man, and stayed with him for about eight months. The man in whose house she was living is ready to give qisas (compensation?): “I am ready to give qisas.

Answer

In essence, pressure should be put on the one whose wife she is, so that he either keeps her or gives her talaq. For a woman to stay with a strange man is haram. Handing a woman over to a Hindu is a most grievous and dangerous sin.
