Talaq by the words “you are haram for me”
Question
Zayd, in a state of anger and with the intention of talaq, said these words three times to his wife with whom the marriage had been consummated (madkhula): “تو مجھ پر حرام ہے، حرام ہے، حرام ہے” (“you are haram for me, haram, haram”), and: “اپنا مہر لے اور جا” (“take your mahr and go”). Will the talaq be irrevocable (ba’in) or major (mughallaza)? And is a certain respected Mufti correct in saying that after the first word she became separated (ba’ina)
Answer
