Talaq in Intoxication from Cannabis

Question

I have a betel shop. One day I was sitting in the shop when a certain non-Muslim with whom I am acquainted came and gave me a laddu (sweet ball) made with cannabis to eat, from which I became so intoxicated that I lost control of myself. After some time I went home; after I got home, an altercation broke out between us, and matters went so far that I was even beaten.

Answer

If the incident is exactly as stated, then no talaq has taken effect upon your wife; the nikah remains intact as before.
