Seeing the Naked Body of One’s Husband or Wife Does Not Cause Impurity
Question
[A man] performs ghusl naked in front of his wife in such a way that the wife hands [him] clothes to put on and also sees the husband’s private parts, while there is no desire or the like at all — it is only that, while handing him the clothes, the wife’s gaze went in that direction; or the wife performs ghusl in the same way and the gaze falls [on her] in the same way. If one prays with this ghusl, is that permissible and valid?
Answer
If, after wudu or ghusl, the wife saw the husband’s private parts or the husband saw the wife’s private parts, no defect enters that wudu or ghusl on account of it; prayer with it is valid.
