Slaughtering an animal that has been cut into two pieces

Question: If some animal is cut by a train, or, for example, when a sharp object is thrown at a rooster its neck is cut, or a deer is cut into two pieces, and both pieces are writhing — can it be slaughtered or not? If it can, then in what manner, and will both parts be halal or not?

Answer

If some animal is cut into two pieces by a train, the piece with the head should be slaughtered at the neck in the known manner — it will be halal, and the other part will be haram. If with a sharp object a rooster, a deer, etc.
