Slaughtering one animal in front of another

Question: When performing the sacrifice, one animal is slaughtered while another stands tied up close by and watches the slaughter taking place. Is there anything wrong in doing so?

Answer

Doing so is forbidden: one animal should not be slaughtered in front of another; there is a prohibition of this in the noble hadith.
