Talking near the Imam’s Place

Question

Is it permissible or impermissible for the imam, immediately after the congregational prayer, right in the mosque near the imam’s place of prayer, to talk with people every day out of habit — and that so loudly that it disturbs people in their prayer?

Answer

Talking so loudly that it disturbs others in their prayer is prohibited.
