The four sunnas before 'isha'
Question
There is a narration from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ whose meaning is: between the adhan and the iqama there is a prayer. It is said that the jurists included the four sunnas of 'isha' on the basis of this hadith. On the basis of this noble hadith, is praying any sunna before the adhan — when the time of the prayer has already begun — not the more virtuous option (ghayr afdal)?
Answer
In this case, the hadith by which these sunnas are established will not have been acted upon.
